The unmistakable presence of sherry, wine or orange can be found in the malts of this collection. All the drams in this grouping have spent some number of years in a sherry or wine barrel to impart that wonderful essence to each spirit. Whether the finish be Fino, Madiera, Oloroso or Port, it results in flavors that are lush and full. We have also found that sherry and orange make for wonderfully compatible flavors, so click on the pictures for notes of orange marmalade, sherried raisin, apricots, and orange zest in many of these malts. |
