The Macallan Fine Oak is triple cask matured in a unique and complex combination of exceptional oak casks. European oak sherry casks impart a rich character of dried fruits, spice and chocolate orange. American oak bourbon casks add floral aromas and sweet notes of vanilla and fresh fruits. American oak sherry casks deliver delicate hints of citrus lemon, coconut and toffee sweetness. This combination delivers an extraordinarily smooth, delicate, yet complex single malt.  A suprising departure for a well known brand.

Color: Rich Straw Gold.

Nose:  Sublime and full, with a hint of rose and cinnamon.

Body:  Full and smooth.

Palate:  Rich and complex ripe orchard fruits, honey and oak. Sherry present but well tamed compared to usual Macallan signature.

Finish:  Lingering with a hint of dark chocolate and spices.

ABV:  43%

Chuao - Morocho, Wild Truffle and Gianduja

The raisiny rich ripe fruit flavors are mirrored in the buttercream of the Morocho, will the overall fudgey richness makes this a perfect pairing.  For a wonderful chocolate accent try the "melt-in-your-mouth" Wild Truffle.  Gianduja's wonderful vanilla and coffee flavors also blend beautifully.  Its your palate, your choice.
