Macallan has become a leader in world spirits by consistently releasing quality expressions.  One of the few distilleries to use Golden Promise barley, this dram is aged in fine Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.

Color:  Amber.

Nose:  Floral, light sherry, honey, vanilla and oak.

Body:  Smooth and suave.

Palate:  Sweet entry of heather, ginger and nutty almonds with developing creamier faint vanilla note.

Finish:  Extremely refined smoke, oak with some spice at finish.

ABV:  43%

SUGGESTED CHOCOLATE PAIRING

Chuao - Dark Grignottine, Morocho, Miel and Wild Truffle

Dark Grignottine plays off the sherry while Morocho's deep fruit also pairs wells.  Miel pulls out the nuttiness and the oak.  Wild Truffle's velvety chocolate makes for a luxurious mate.
