The Dalmore 12 Year Old |
Northern Highlands |
This is a true classic that is well within reach. The youngest of the Dalmore expressions, it has been matured evenly in American Bourbon and Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks. Best enjoyed after dinner. Color: Mahogany Nose: Orange marmalade, distinct sherry, malt and spice. Body: Silky and chewy. Palate: Malty flavor that is well integrated with oranges, spice, and sherry. Notes of caramel and honey with vanilla arriving rather late. Finish: Long and satisfying, ending with liquorice spice. ABV: 40%, yet seemingly fuller weight. Awards: IWSC 2008 Bronze. |

SUGGESTED CHOCOLATE PAIRINGChuao - Dark Grignottine andMelaoThis malt is easy to pair. Grignottine's orange and nuts are delightful, while Melao hits that caramel note. SUGGESTED CIGAR PAIRING |
