Islay
 

Mature beyond its years, PC6 pays homage to Port Charlotte's distillery traditions with this heavily peated (40ppm), and unmistakably Islay malt. 

Color:  Amber.

Nose:  Complex peat and floral, grassy sweetness.  Developing charcoal and fresh marine or piney aromas. Sherry fruitiness followed by vanilla and toffee finished with oak.

Body:  Surprisingly full bodied for such a young warrior.

Palate:  Heavily peated with a crisp citrusy tone. Madeira flavor well integrated with all the aromas repeated in amazing harmony.

Finish: Sustains a smooth, briney, earthy finish.
