Glengoyne is one of the few distilleries to use Golden Promise barley. No peat is used in their air dried malting process leaving the grain's inherent sweetness undisturbed. This dram was created in one of the most beautiful distilleries in Scotland, and at its great value to price ratio provides an easy entry to the Glengoyne range.

Color:  Light honey.

Nose:  Fresh apples with toffee sweetness.

Body:  Smooth light to medium body.

Palate:  Apples and pears with a clean grassy freshness, slight maltiness and hint of lingering sherry.

Finish:  Pleasant sweetness, then drier at finish.

ABV:  40%

Chuao - Black & White and Morocho

Black & White's sweet and nutty praline mimics the cereal sweetness behind this malt, while Morocho adds fruit and fudge to the menu.  Both are delightful in a different way.
