This gem is matured in sherry, bourbon and new oak casks before its turn in the Solera vat that is always kept half full to ensure quality consistency from vintage to vintage.  This vatted malt is a steal for its age eliminating any excuse not to sample it.  A fine core product from a respected distillery.

Color:  Amber

Nose:  Banana, honey, oak and coffee.

Body:  Deep and smooth.

Palate:  Depths of sherry, peat, fudge, fruit and spice flavors.

Finish:  Lingering and complex floral and fruity sweetness tempered by a soft oakiness.

ABV:  40%
