Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old

Islay

Lightly peated barley and pure spring water that flows underground away from the peaty moorlands, helps to explain the gentle nature of this Islay scotch. Matured in Bourbon and Sherry casks this delicious dram is a value for its top quality. Bunnahabhain (meaning rivermouth) is named for its location close to the Margadale River on the Northern shore of the Island.

Color:  Golden

Nose:  Fresh sea air, bananas and toffee.

Body:  Medium body.

Palate:  Hint of fruitiness, malt nuttiness and coffee, subtle peat with a wisp of smoke.

Finish:  Long and lingering with hints of vanilla and smoke.  Distinct coffee note at finish.

ABV:  40%
