Origins was designed to feature "Golden Promise", a prized but low yield barley that was once ubiquitous in the whisky industry.  Self proclaimed smallest distillery, Benromach was formally reopened by Gordon & MacPhail in 1998.  Origins is one of their first expressions and exhibits lots of dimension for such a youngster. Whisky is unchillfiltered, first and second fill sherry cask.
