In 2008 The Dalmore replaced their popular "Cigar Malt" with the Gran Reserva expression. While there is no age statement, it is said to be between 10 and 15 years and matured in a fusion of approximately 2/3rds Oloroso Sherry casks and 1/3 American Oak ex-bourbon casks. It is then finished for an additional amount of time in sherry butts. Sherry and spice and everything nice!

The dark chocolate Gran Cacao absolutely mimics the dark chocolate notes of the scotch, while the carmelized orange peel in the dark grignottine flirts with the citrusy notes of this fine dram. Can't lose with either combination. Click here to purchase.
SUGGESTED CIGAR PAIRING
Rocky Patel Renaissance
A richer version of the Dalmore 15 year old, the Gran Reserva and the Renaissance are quite a match. Cigar notes of sweet cream, cinnamon spice and roasted nuts perfectly complement the Dalmore. Click to purchase.
