Currently, hard earned capital is turning into smoke, but the smoke can be converted back into capital, especially if it's smoke from cigars at the Grand Havana Room (GHR) one of the most prestigious business clubs in the world and one whose Moscow members include some of the most successful businessmen in Russia. Membership is by Invitation only and becoming a member opens the doors to meeting these people, as well as high-ranking officials, world class athletes, movie producers and Hollywood stars who frequently visit the club.
Negotiations inside the walls of the GHR Moscow are as different from a business meeting in an ordinary restaurant, as a Cuban cigar is from a Honduran. It's not just because of GHR's high profile membership, great atmosphere, tasteful dining and extensive selection of fine wines, but because Grand Havana Room is a private club. There are no random visitors here and the only non-members allowed to visit, are guests accompanied by the member who invited them.
A unique and outstanding feature at GHR is its' humidor room, considered to be the largest in the world, providing "safe keeping" for the cigars of the rich & famous. This exciting room offers members the opportunity to own their own personal cigar box with gold name-plate identifying them. Other members whose name-plates decorate its' walls are: Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Kostya Tszyu and many owners of some of Russia's biggest businesses.
Guests who are invited to become members have their choice of individual or corporate memberships and some of the US corporate members include Deutsche Bank, Hugo Boss, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Panasonic and many others. Between the three clubs, there are close to fifteen hundred members and new members must be approved by the GHR board of directors.
Along with the Moscow club there are three other Grand Havana Rooms worldwide. The first one opened over fifteen years ago in Beverly Hills. Three years later with the support of former mayor and member Rudolph Giuliani, a second club opened in New York. The Moscow club opened in January of 2008 and with the government of China's support, another GHR will open its doors in Beijing soon.
By joining GHR Moscow you are joining a group of highly successful people who have a similar system of values. If approved to join, you become a welcomed member of GHR's everywhere around the world.
Smoking is not required to be a member of GHR and close to 50% of the Moscow members do not smoke. GHR Moscow is a business club and was opened to assist members in making the right contacts and doing more business in Russia, however, if you are a cigar smoker, GHR's special events, private tasting's and aficionados will make you a virtual connoisseur.
Some recent guests who have visited the club are; President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Fidel Castro Jr., Moatason Kadafi, Sergey Lavrov, Dolph Lundgren, Michael Madsen, Luc Besson, Steven Seagal, John Voight, Armand Assante, Mark Dacascos and former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Sultan Ibragimov.
